Mission

KOR – Fairfield Chapter means a lot of things. It is giving, sharing, caring, helping one another, and working together with the “bayanihan” spirit in mind. Most of all, KOR – Fairfield Chapter is a place to enjoy and have fun with friends. The mission of KOR – Fairfield Chapter is to uplift the Filipino spirit, uphold Filipino values, and preserve Filipino culture, heritage, and traditions. To keep the organization stable and pass it to the next generation to generations to come To raise social awareness that will heighten the members’ interest and desire to respond to the needs of the Filipino community in their adopted country. To enrich them with programs and activities that are helpful to them as they assimilate into the mainstream so that in the end they will become productive citizens and bring about a positive image and identity worth emulating by the present and the next generations of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans. To study the teachings of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. To inculcate and propagate the teachings of our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, not only to the Filipinos but to foreign nationals as well. To promote the spirit of Rizalian virtues, patriotism, and internationalism and engaged in educational, social and cultural endeavors. To promote among the knights the spirit of patriotism and Rizalian chivalry. To develop the most perfect Union among the Filipinos in revering the memory of Dr. Rizal. To organize and hold programs commemorative of Rizal’s martyrdom

KOR Fairfield Chapter is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our status can be verified with the IRS.

Vision

An organization dedicated to the propagation of Rizalian thoughts, ideas, and works to the end that people regardless of race, creed, and religion may emulate Rizal’s examples for the benefit of humankind

The Order of the Knights of Rizal – Fairfield Chapter is a civic and patriotic organization recognized by law as an instrumentality by which the teaching of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal may be propagated among the Filipino people and others who may believe in his teachings to the end that they may emulate and follow his example.

Aside from its being a civic and patriotic organization, it is also cultural, non-sectarian, non-partisan and non-racial.
